I am definitely trying to get better at writing on here, but I just seem to forget I have this until someone mentions it :) This last month has been one that has kept me on my toes, but it has been a blast! For family vacation this year we ended up taking a road trip out to Utah. We started out in St. George where we went through the temple out there for the first time ever! It was a neat experience to go through a temple where you know your ancestors help build. I am truly grateful that I was able to have that opportunity to go through! While we were out there, we also ended up going out to Zion National Park. That has always held a dear part to our family because my 5 great grandfather is recognized as being the one that named the park, and also one of the first settlers to be out there. I just love that no matter where u stand, walk, or hike, there is always such amazing beauty surrounding you.

Well then that leads us to leaving St. George and heading out to Payson, where we stayed with some dear family friends. Oh what fun we had while we were there. We went hiking, went up to Sundance, went shopping (we are girls, what do u expect), visited my grandma, got to meet my great aunt eye and great uncle paul for the first time in 15 years (which was so neat!), and I think my favorite part of the entire trip was going to see the Manti Miracle Pageant. How blessed we are that we have these special opportunites to be able to go and do these things with family and very dear friends. The memories will always be there and I just cant wait until next time!!

When I can finally get passed vacation, it seems that my life still cannot slow down one bit. The best news I believe I can share is that I finally got my cooking raise (level 6) at work!! It is something that I have been working so hard to get for so long, and I am so happy to see my hard work pay off. The crazy thing is that now that I have it, I want to help others get their raises. I love training and helping others grow as they learn. One reason I think I do this is to show the others that training is not something that is easy for both parties, but if u love what u do, the training becomes fun. All u have to have is patience!

And finally to end this post... my dear friend Amber gave her farewell talk today, and it makes me sad to see her go, but I am so glad that she chose to go on a mission. She will always hold a dear spot in my heart, and I look forward to all the stories she will have to share once she gets home!!!

Well I think I rambled on long enough. If u made it through this, yay!!! LOL until next time :)
