birthday

this past weekend has been one of the best that i have had in a very long time. it all started last wednesday when my friends took me out to celebrate my birthday with bowling (for only a dollar!), dinner, yogurtland, and then games back at my apartment. when it comes to the four of us from institute, we r trouble makers, but it is fun and that is all that will matter in the end. saturday was the best day because my mom took me out to see Wicked! It was amazing, orchestra seats, new shirt... how can your 22nd birthday get any better? now here we are back to monday, and life is just going back to normal ever so slowly.

life

my goodness has life been crazy. i just moved again last weekend, so i have been busy packing, then unpacking... u know the routine. this weekend has been great. i came home to visit the family for the weekend, and it has been a lot of fun. saturday i went to the movies with my dad to see the Mummy movie, which i really liked. surprisingly it was almost as good as the other two movies. i am glad that is was not a dud like most sequals are. today was great cause i was able to go and visit my old singles ward. i saw old friends, and even crushes, and the surprising part was that i actually talked to my main crush (one 4 1/2 years in the making). we talked through sunday school, and part of relief society, but who cares. it was great getting to catch up on everything that has been going on, and hopefully we will be able to get together in the next couple of weeks before school starts and he heads off to Australia (so jealous!!!). well that catches you up on everything that has been going on in life. dont expect the next one to be as eventful as this one was

life sure has been getting crazy in the past couple of weeks. for one, i am moving next week, so to get everything packed is a pain! this past weekend has been one of the best weekends ever so far this summer. thursday night i went and saw the black knight with some friends, and we sure did have fun. standing in line, we helped the time go by by playing card games (no ligretto this time around), and then inside the theater, we played some more games. the movie itself was really good, a little dark than what i usually watch, but overall it was a great movie. friday after work, i went down to huntington beach for what was suppose to be a bonfire, but in the end, it just ended up being a play in the water beach trip with a group of friends from church because a pit could not be found. its amazing to watch the guys as they stay in the water long after the sun has gone down, and it has gotten pretty cold outside. how they do it? i have not the slightest idea, but would love to get an answer one day.
i think the best day of all was sunday night. we had a group of friends over for a game night. game night really should have been called 'ligretto night' because that was all that we played. playing games is the best with guys cause they lighten up the mood and help everyone have fun. it was a night that i was able to make new friends along with getting to know my old friends even more.

florida vacation

i noticed as i was looking through my blog that i forgot to tell about my trip to Florida that i took about a month ago. i went to orlando , florida with my family for one final vacation before my brother heads off to the air force, my sister back to school, and me well i am not sure where next year is going to take me. my mom and i got to do something very fun, and that is a once in a lifetime opportunity; we got to hold a live alligator. this one here is named wendall who is about 3 feet long, and soft to the touch. i loved holding him, and if i could, i would get a pet alligator. j/k :)

of course every day at around 3 it would rain. one time we were at universal studios, and the only way that we could stay dry would be if we kept on running back to go on the men and black ride. of course that did not always work, but it was fun in the process.


it was a great vacation, and unfortunately we had to come back to reality.

summer of weddings

i have noticed that this is the year of the weddings. i have been to three weddings so far, which does not include another two that i was invited to, but was unable to make. by the end of august, i will have a total of three more weddings to attend, and of course make me broke in wedding presents :) so far i have been to a reception that was hawaiian style, and one wedding that took place at disneyland. that was the most beautiful wedding that i have ever been to, and it was just so fun to see old friends from high school. before you know it, i am going to be making my own version of the movie 27 dresses due to the number of weddings that i am attending in a year. weddings are great, and javascript:void(0)

its been a while since i have written on this page, but i thought that now would be a great time to catch everyone up on what i have been up to. i just got back from a week long trip to Florida with the family, and it was a lot of fun. we went to Universal studios every single day, and Wet and Wild (which is a water park) twice. the best day was when i went on an air boat ride through a part of the everglades to locate alligators. i was only able to see a baby one, but i was able to hold an alligator after the ride. surprisingly, the alligator was nice and soft, which was something that i was not expecting when i was holding him. that is one experience that i am never going to forget. last, i am known for always hurting myself on every trip that i go on... hawaii i hurt my arm, and well on this trip, i hurt my knee which is still healing, but i dont care, it was a great week. if you want to see pictures from my trip, they will be on facebook, and possibly here if i can figure out how to post them :)

Crazy :P

well life has been what i like to call 'crazy' for the past couple of days. it all started yesterday due to the mood i was in. this mood comes from being 'crazy' and just plain happy. this saturday i am having a group of friends over, and with my hyper mood that i was in yesterday, well it got me to ask guys over. if you know me, then you know that this is some what hard for me to do cause i have a hard time talking to guys period. one of the guys even is going to come help me cook before due to my lovely wrist being hurt with tendonitis :( he didnt even hesitate when i asked him that, and of course when my room mates found out, they told me that they are going "to have to 'leave' during that time that he is there helping me" isnt that sweet? they really know the details behind this guy and with me, and just seeing the struggle that it has taken me to even ask him to come over, well they would do anything to help me out :)
That does not conclude this 'crazy' day. After FHE, that is where this all took place, my room mates Emily, Sarah and my self decided to go and get ice cream. Just so u know, that was the second time Emily and I had had ice cream that day, we had just gone a couple of hours earlier with Chad, but at the moment, we did not care... we were already hyper as it is, so why not just give us ice cream to go with it? We of course then come home, and Sarah and i watch a movie. By the time this is all done, it is around midnight. u would think that that would mean bed time, but not for me. i was so hyper that i actually stayed up until about 2 in the morning!!! i tell ya, it sure was a crazy day. its so nice just being able to have these spontaneous days of being crazy, and having fun with it. i sure wish more days were like this cause it would be so much fun :)

Welcome :)

life has been crazy these past couple of months, and i thought that the best way to keep everyone up to date with what is going on would be through making a blog. So much has happened since i moved out of my parents house last summer. I moved into a house with 4 great room mates: Emily, Sarah, Jory, and Kaite. They are great and living with them makes me feel like i never left home. I just found out that i have about a year left before i have my BA in history, so i am pretty excited cause that means i can then join the credential program and start teaching high school :) I am working at the best fast food restaurant around, which of course is In-N-Out. My bosses are great and the people that i work with are awesome! This is all for now, but more will be to come in the next couple of days when i decide what else to put here
