Update time once again

so it has been awhile since i last wrote here, and mostly that is because i have been lazy about it once again. I know it doesn't take long to write in here, but still to have the desire can sometimes be hard to come by. lets see... there has been a lot of activity going on here since i have moved home, and one would be going to see the Phantom of the Opera, finally!!!! Mom took me for my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing!
We went with my mom's boss, her daughter, and then some of their family. It was a blast, and I was just grateful to have my Mom there with me to have her there to enjoy the experience with me. Afterward we went to this cute little restaurant for dinner called "Off Vine." I had never been there before, but it was fun, and we all had a great night. sure did love doing this for my birthday, which seems to be the ritual every year now lol.
Last week I went back up to fullerton to see my dear friends once again. It was so much fun, and I cant remember the last time I had so much fun. We were going to go in a big balloon air ride, but due to the wind, it was grounded. So instead we took some silly little pictures, and this is the one of me.It is so crazy to see the things that I do with my friends around me, but I dont care. It is simple mormon fun, and the best part of all, we were hanging out and having fun, and that is all that matters. With me living so far away, it can get hard for me to come out to see them, and with them all still in school it is really hard for them to make their way out to see me. Even though that was just one great night, I know that there will be many more fun nights to come with them, and my new amazing friends that i have made down here in Victorville too :D

Late Night

I should be asleep due to a busy day tomorrow, but as you can see, that is not happening. I thought that this would be the perfect time to update everyone as to what has been going on in my life. In less than a week my sister will be leaving for her mission to Utah, Provo. i am excited for her, but sad to see her go. My farewell to her is a song that i am singing for her this upcoming sunday. i am very picky with my song choices, and this one is truly meant for her. this song was found about 6 months ago when i was looking for a song to sing in church. i sang it there, and well fell in love with it that i knew that it would be one that i would sing again, and well it has come true. i hope she loves it as much as i do cause i sure to put all of my heart into every song that i sing.
Not only am i getting ready to send my sister on a mission, but i am getting used to a new store to work at for in-n-out. dont get me wrong, i love the store, but it is different from the one that i have worked at for the last three years. what is different you might ask? well for one, there are two levels, about 20 more people that work there, and a drive thru! i still get lost and confused and i know that with time everything will make much more sense and easier to understand.
So this completes my life story so far lol, and i will definitely be back to continue it soon :D

Summer Has Begun

Well a lot sure has happened in just the last couple of weeks. I have moved back home from Fullerton since i am now done with school. I was pretty sad to go, but i have the greatest friends to always remember. A group of my friends threw me a surprise going away party, and as u can tell from both the pictures and the video, that it was a great night. i never suspected any of it, which made the night even more memorable. Along with throwing the party, they made me a dvd of pictures and video of my time there, and then made a song for me (which you can hear here). the night of course would have not been complete with out a midnight trip to yogurtland. haha i sure will not forget that. The only true way to understand how much i enjoyed my party was to have been there, you guys are the greatest and i will definitely miss all of you!!!

My final FHE was of course as much fun as the party. There were singing, acting, guitars, pianos, and even drawings. Since i knew it was going to be my last FHE, i asked to take a group picture with everyone that was there. the picture turned out great and makes me smile and think back on all of the great FHE's we have had over the last three years. Beach bonfires, ultimate Frisbee, sardines, scavengers hunts, and so much more :D i will always remember them, and i know for those that were there for them, they will remember them too.

Now that i am home, it seems as if my life is starting over. being done with school and just working has not hit me yet, and that could be because i am still getting used to the area and the hot weather again lol. i never knew how much i missed this place until i moved back here. the dirt, 100 degree weather, and one main road to get everywhere: its all great. it might be helping that i am staying busy, enjoying my new store (29 in hesperia for INO), spending time with my family, and saying hello to old friends that i have not seen in years. I hope my time here, no matter how short or how long that might be, i am able to enjoy every minute that i have.

graduate!!!

i did it! after 6 years i finally graduated from college :D now i have a degree in english with a minor in history. it seems so surreal that i am now done with school and time to move on into the real world. graduation went by so quickly that i was sad that it went by so fast.

the only sad thing about graduating is leaving all of my friends behind here when it is time for me to move on. the last week at institute was a blast, and i made sure i enjoyed every minute of it because i knew that i would not be around next year to enjoy it. i am sure going miss everyone, but the great memories that were made these past three years will always hold a special place in my heart.

for the next month i will still be down here working, going to summer school and enjoying time with my friends. these are precious moments to me, and i want to enjoy every last second i have down here!
