this was another great year in hawaii. even though we got caught up in a tropical depression, it was still great. there were some neat blowholes to see, and beautiful sunsets too. one day we climbed diamond head, but we were not that smart about it. there were 4 of us, but we only brought one bottle of water on one of the roughest and hottest areas. i made it, but i still dont know how. one of the neatest days was when we were at pearl harbor and got to meet three of the survivors that were there that day. that is an experience that i will never forget. one other amazing thing that we did that week was drive up to punchbowl crater, which is a burial place for all those that were MIA, KIA, ect. during WWII, Vietnam, and Korean wars. even though their bodies were never recovered, there is still a place for their families to go to pay their respect for them since they could not return home. all in all, this is one family vacation that i will never forget.
